Build a Bear!!

We took little L to Build a Bear this weekend. He loves stuffed animals. He got all excited and you can see, I think on the first pic, he circled his lips like Ooh when he saw all the animals. We recorded "I love you little Lindy" and put it in the bear with his heart. Lindon let him choose his bear and after we stuffed it Lindon took him to the bath with Lindon G. to wash all his fuzzies off. What a good sport. He loves his bear though! The recording is starting to drive Lindon nuts though cause it's my voice over and over! :o) Ha Ha

Here Lizard Lizard Lizard!

This was so funny to me. They are doin the dirty dirty! The male lizard is sure not gonna let go of his woman. He is holding on to her back. Of course Lindon tried to mess with them and the male wasn't having that. They shuffled along the rail stuck together. :o) Ha Ha. It was kind of neat though. Everyone wants a pic of two lizards getting their groove on.

Pics of the Villa

WE MISSED YOU NIKKI!!!! :o(

Lindons family came down this past week to Topsail beach and stayed at the Villa Capriani. These are pics of his Grandmother and Aunt Laurie. (Sorry Nikki I didn't get pics of Aunt Tammy, Tristen and Kailey) We didn't see them as much and when they were around it wasn't the best time.

Misc. pics

Just a few misc. pics. Lindon bought me a cookie birthday cake. Yum Yum, chewy and good. That makes me a big ole 23 years old. Lindon loves to ride the lawn mower. If he knows Daddy is mowing the lawn he goes to the door and points out. If we are outside he starts whining for Daddy to pick him up and take him for a ride. Again, our little corn eater hasn't changed. We went to the state farmers market yesterday in Raleigh to get him a bushel which is 65 pieces. He should be happy for a while. :o)

I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted pics. These are some of the pictures I took when we went out on the boat a few weekends ago.

2 molars!

I realized last night that 2 of Lindons molars have pushed through. My poor man was sooo cranky last week starting from about the middle of the week through the weekend. I didn't want to look and see because I knew that they were coming through and were really tender, but now that it has been a few days I wanted to look and see. Sure enough there they were. He still didn't want me to touch them though. Who would want someones finger wiggling around in there mouth anyway? :o)

I forgot to add a couple of words to Lindons word count. He also says poo poo and sto for stop. Every word counts right? :o)

Quack, Quack, Quack!

On Saturday I was going through Lindons flash cards with him and we got to the card with a duck on it. I made the sound of a duck and wouldn't you know my son started quacking. He says ka ka ka. So now when he sees the card box he starts quacking. It is so cute. Of course when I tried to get him to do it for Lindons parents and my Mom, he wouldn't. He did it for Daddy though so I have another witness.

We are learning new words!

On Saturday we went out on the boat with Lindon's parents and on the way to Topsail island, where we let out, Grandmama was pointing to a baby in a magazine and was trying to get Lindon to say baby. Well he did! Yeah! He said baby over and over. It was cute. So now he can say...baby, dada and sometimes daddy, ma, mama and sometimes mommy, gag for dog, ba for bird, ball, and uh oh. It is so cute. When we talk to him he knows what we are talking about for the most part. You can see simple things that he hears a lot are beginning to click. He was down the hallway the other day and I called him from the couch. I asked him to go get his ball, which was in the kitchen, and throw it to me. He ran down the hall and to me, then I pointed to his ball in the kitchen and said go get your ball and throw it to me and he ran and got his ball and threw it. He definately responds when I say lets go eat. He loves food! We can't eat or drink anything without him running over to us and asking for some. He is such a food blister. When I say lets go bye bye he knows to get up and come with me. Sometimes he would rather do his own thing but for the most part he knows we are going outside and he is all for that.
Lindon throws his baby tantrums too. It is kind of humerous. When he wants something and doesn't get it or wants to play or go in an opposite direction and we don't let him he will start crying and lay down, slowly lay his head back on the floor and commense to crying. He may add in a few leg kicks here or there while on the floor. If we walk away he will whine for a few then quit. He is such a nut. I just let him bang his head and throw his fit cause fighting makes him fight back and I am not challenging that. He'll decide when he is ready to quit throwing his fit and realize that nobody is paying no mind to him.

JUST A HEADS UP

I have posted so much that they don't all fit on the first page of my blog so go to the blog archive on the left of the page to view all of the posts. We wouldn't want you to miss any now would we. Just kidding. Look, I had a lot of catching up to do.

Redneck Slip n Slide

Lindon and I were driving into town when we passed this house. These people always have that redneck cowboy look going on, but this just took it to a whole new level. Imagine how bad that would hurt going down. Thin plastic with a bunch of rocks underneath. The best thing to me was the tires holding it down. There is no way that mess would be in my yard. I got the greatest kick out of it though. How ghetto!

Look what we got!

Lindon loves to ride on a bike. We take him in the evening when it is cool.

Look at my Tongue!

Corny Corn Corn!

My man loves corn on the cob! These are the cutest pics to me

Hot Hot Hot!

A couple of weekends ago Lindon was working on our ditch and it was super hot outside so bud and I sat on the front porch keeping up with the supply of gatorade for Daddy. In the mean time I filled up a bucket of cold water for him to play in cause it was so hot. The heat index was like 110. Aaahhh! Little Lindon loved it though. Kept him going for about an hour. He played good.
